The Truth Behind $100k Enterprise Pricing
February 3, 2025
Many early-stage founders are hesitant to charge a 6 figure amount, but if you’re selling to Enterprise customers, $100k a year is the minimum price.
Last June, we introduced our first grant: the North West Grant, open to anyone in the North West of England. Since then, we’ve received dozens of applications, awarded numerous grants, and even made larger investments in some of the teams. Now we’re expanding the grant program to include two more universities: Imperial College London and Durham University.
Imperial College is one of the world’s leading science universities, with over 20,000 students from around the globe. In recent years, they’ve developed an impressive entrepreneurial program which continues to grow with the Enterprise Lab and their new Applied AI program “I-X”.
We’ve been collaborating with these programs and their startup teams since late 2022 and have been impressed with the level of talent and program organization. We’re very proud to be offering up to 25 x £1,000 grants to Imperial students and alumni.
Special thanks to Victoria Nicholl for her invaluable help setting this up!
More than 20 years ago, I began my undergraduate studies in AI at Durham University. The university is both ancient and beautiful, boasting a 1,000 year old Cathedral! I arrived without any coding experience and left with the skills needed for grad school and to build my own business.
We’ve already invested in founders from Durham, so we’re glad to now be able to offer up to 25 x £1,000 grants per year to current students and alumni.
At Sterling Road, we aim to invest in the next generation of entrepreneurs in the UK. Where do you think we should offer a grant program?
